The Maritime Arts and Culture Association (“MACA”) was established in Hong Kong in 2021, with a fundamental focus of preserving and promoting China's maritime trade and ceramic history, and creating a cultural hub in Hong Kong. Over the last several years, MACA has managing and maintaining a collection of over 20,000 pieces of ceramic ware from notable shipwrecks in the region, ranging from the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty.
